Still in San Jose at the same apartment and since everything seemed to go so well the year before, I thought I would be even more ambitious with my decorations. I found a deal on a 200-foot roll of 29" black gossamer, and I had discovered for MardiGras that foam mounting tape is your very good friend for removable decorations, much more than staples are! Of course, the gossamer only was just enough for my walls, so the ceilings were still solid black with tablecloths and staples, but I think the overall effect succeeded. You can decide for yourself with the pictures below...
We had a tie for the Halloween Name that Spooky TV Theme Quiz this year (both 12 out of 13! Congrats Robert/Maureen and Josh! You are each almost as much a musical pop culture geek as I am!), and Sheridan and Delenn won hands-down for the costume contest. It was a record year for total attendance - 28 guests! Now I just need a bigger place!
