Merry Music and Madrigals

Since I had access to a portable DAT recorder I could borrow, Christmas 1996 I started trying to record our little group singing together whenever we got together. When I began to realize I had a decent amount of material, I got the idea to make a compact disc of us for a surprise Christmas present for everyone involved. Before I left for England in 1997, I gave the DAT back to Noah with all my source tapes so he could master the CD for me while I was gone, and I worked on the booklet while I was overseas. Of course, the delivery presents was delayed due to printer frustration, as well as getting infinitely better recordings the night before the presents were to be given!

This booklet and tray liner were designed using Adobe Pagemaker (my first large project with Pagemaker, and boy did I learn a lot), with the original images (some scanned, and some poor-quality video captures) maniupulated in Adobe Photoshop, and a few logo text phrases imported from Painter...

For some sound clips of us as Cibo Cantabimus, see my music page...

I would love to know what you think of my work, if you'd like to send me a note...
